Road Mechanic for Lifting Equipment
Job Description
Under the supervision of the service manager, the holder of this position is responsible for supporting the lifting department team in managing and executing projects. To assume this role, you will work collaboratively with project managers and clients, providing quality technical support.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of lifting equipment at client sites.
- Gather the necessary materials and equipment required for the tasks.
- Perform certain repairs and maintenance at client locations.
- Execute and complete installation and modernization projects for equipment.
- Enter data and information collected during inspections into computer systems.
- Gather information necessary for ordering parts and planning work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at client sites.
- Prepare and deliver completed inspection reports to clients.
- Represent the company to our clients and partners.
- Conduct load tests and mechanical tests according to engineer directives.
- Participate in the development of the lifting department.
Experience, Skills & Education
- DEP in electromechanics or higher.
- Experience in inspection and maintenance of lifting equipment.
- ASP Construction card.
- Field experience is an asset.
- Demonstrate an interest in and sensitivity to health and safety at work.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French; English is an asset.
